Friday Feature - Beata Heuman

Beata Heuman

One of the most talked about British designers at the moment is Beata Heuman.

This week the doors opened to her much anticipated styled exhibition with Christies Auction house, which on opening day caused a queue down the street. Originally raised in Sweden she moved to England at 21 and worked for Nicky Haslam. She opened her own studio in 2013 and has gone from strength to strength in the Uk interior design world, having her works published several times in House & Gardens.

For us what we like most about her aesthetic is that each and every project is different. The colour pallets are exciting and bold with strong punches of colours. She uses a contrast of textured and patterned materials and the rooms feel personal with the clients objects and a mix of antique and new furnishings.

Her philosophy is “In the course of a lifetime, one gathers a multitude of experiences and objects and your home should make it possible to take in all of these things” and we completely agree.

We can’t wait to see more exciting projects from Beata Heuman.
