Monday Makeover

We found this 6 bedroom Victorian house on Rightmove and was amazed by some of the beautiful rooms, there was just one that stood out for a makeover……. The sitting room!!!

With red walls and red damask wallpaper combined with pale blue wood work the space isn’t working.

Built in 1863 the lodge has all the architectural features and spacial proportions to be an amazing home.

We wanted to keep to the traditional style of the house and carry it through to the sitting room. Choosing warm yellow tones on the walls and wood work added a heritage feel. The beautiful chandelier in bronze then inspired the style and colour of furniture, adding a pop of orange keep to the warm colour scheme and furniture that is a modern take on traditional style.
